Twenty-nine in 2011, forty-six in 2012 ... young teachers renew the staff of our university PDI

During the Governing Council held on Monday, the vice teacher reported the status of voluntary early retirement plan PDI official recalling that during the course accessed the same 31 teachers who will be replaced twenty-nine new hires. Is scheduled to join these classes during the month of September.
  1. This first call for voluntary early retirement, convened last year, was welcomed 5 professors / as University, 11 University Holders, 3 Professors / School as College and 12 holders College.
The Vice Chancellor also reported that in the second round of the Plan have been submitted 46 requests for voluntary early retirement before the next course, so in 2012 will be a new phase of the rejuvenation of our staff in other forty-six seats faculty.

For the materialization of new hires, the vice teacher has reached an agreement with unions by establishing two basic criteria: rebalancing needs in each area teaching loads and anticipate future problems that can arise with pensions in those departments which have the highest percentage of teachers over 60 years.

That agreement, signed with the unions last week, was ratified by the Executive Committee of Faculty at its meeting on Wednesday 4 May and will start immediately to allow / as new / as teachers ; start working from the beginning of the year 2011/2012. Since the recruitment process typically takes four to five months.
